John Koller, director of hardware marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment America, told Gamasutra that the PlayStation 3 is still in its “early adopter phase.” Koller indicated that the “tech-oriented” consumer “interested in the multi-functionality of the system” composed the adopting legion. He must have forgot that the PS3 has been sitting on retail shelves for over two years. To be fair, Koller’s interview was about the PlayStation 2’s enormous sales figures
