‘Games on Demand’ section arrives on Xbox.com
It appears the “Games on Demand” section has replaced “Xbox Originals” on Xbox.com marketplace. We’re not exactly sure if this is a rebranding of Xbox Originals, but the title of the section would imply that all downloadable games — which will include Xbox 360 titles in August — will reside in this section. However, if you click on the “Xbox 360 Games” on the left navigation bar, there’s a clearly marked ” Full Game ” download section, which is currently empty.

Rockstar injects the Xbox 360 with a double dose of gritty film noir and slow-motion gunfire with the release of the first two Max Payne games as Xbox Originals . As foretold by the ESRB last month , both Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne are now available for purchase and play on your Xbox 360 courtesy of the Xbox Originals program. Both games will set you back 1200 Microsoft points ($15.00 in real-world money), which is a small price to pay for washing the taste of Marky Mark’s performance in the movie out of your mouth before Rockstar releases Max Payne 3.

Rockstar Games and Microsoft may be giving Xbox 360 owners a chance to brush up on their Max Payne history in advance of the release of Max Payne 3 , courtesy of the Xbox Originals program. The ESRB lists relatively new ratings for both Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne for the Xbox 360. Typically, that’s a good indicator that the games are going to hit the Xbox Originals lineup.

Your guess as good as ours: BlowOut coming to Xbox Originals
The Xbox Originals program selection process continues to confuse, as the Gamerscore Blog revlelas the next addition to the lineup of downloadable “classics” for the Xbox 360, Terminal Reality’s Blowout. Only the fact that Crecente might actually be reading this post keeps me from just writing “Why?” 200 times and calling it a day
